Free coffee from trans folks!
What's going on?
We're bringing free, popup outdoor cafes staffed by trans folks to the people of Aotearoa/New Zealand. Our trans folks are ready to engage, answer questions, and connect with others.
Trans folks make up so little of the population (just 0.7% in 2023) that we're betting many kiwis haven't knowingly met or engaged with a trans person. Trans Coffee is an opportunity to have an interaction with trans folks, and we're happy to answer your questions, even if they're uncomfortable. We hope we can contribute to a better understanding of trans people, one cup of coffee at a time.
When can I have my coffee?

We hope to have our first Trans Coffee popups in Pōneke/Wellington on Wednesday July 29th and Tuesday 25th August.
We're planning on taking Trans Coffee on the road during the weeks of 19th October and 2nd November.
